Angelina Dzhurova

TEACHER SUPPORT MANAGER

Angelina Dzhurova has been the Manager of School Team Support in the Model Schools program since 2025. Before stepping into this role, she spent four years supporting early-career teachers and whole-school teams across Teach For Bulgaria’s professional development programs. She joined the organization after teaching primary school students for two years at Vladimir Komarov Secondary School in Veliko Tarnovo, having previously completed the New Way to Teaching program herself.

Angelina’s work is driven by the belief that every child deserves at least one trusted adult who believes in their potential. This conviction shapes her approach to supporting teachers and school leaders. Drawing on her experience across education, psychology, and the social sector, she believes that meaningful and lasting change begins with creating positive, psychologically safe learning environments where both students and educators feel valued, understood, and empowered to grow.

Angelina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Pedagogy and a Master’s degree in Educational Management from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. She also holds a Master’s degree in Primary Education from Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv. In addition, she has completed a postgraduate qualification in Psychology at the Centre for Continuing Education at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, as well as training as a psychodrama assistant at Ariadna Psychological Counselling Centre.
