The Ministry of Education Approved 13 of Teach For Bulgaria’s Training Programs for Teachers and Principals

The training programs will provide professional development credits for teachers and principals.

Thirteen of Teach For Bulgaria’s training programs were included in the professional development training register for teachers and principals. The register contains all training programs which have been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science. Teach For Bulgaria’s training programs were approved and included in the register in January of 2019. Each of the newly-approved trainings has theoretical and practical modules and provides professional development credits for teachers and principals who manage to complete it successfully.

The approved programs cover the majority of the trainings which are part of Teach For Bulgaria’s leadership and professional development program.

Teach For Bulgaria’s intensive summer training a.k.a. Summer Institute is among the 13 newly-approved programs. Some of the other approved modules can help teachers create a vision for student development, establish a supportive classroom culture, plan interactive lessons, track student progress, make efficient and relevant assessments, etc.

All teacher trainers who lead these programs are education experts and Teach For Bulgaria alumni.
They are experienced professionals who constantly develop their expertise by working directly in the classroom, doing extensive research, conducting studies and experiments, and exchanging best practices with colleagues from Bulgaria and internationally.

2. Summer Institute – intensive induction training for Teach For Bulgaria participants;
   Theory of Change – quality education for every child;
3. Creating a vision for student development and classroom culture;
4. Lesson and Unit Planning;
5. Progress Tracking and Student Assessment;
   Planning Interactive Lessons and Facilitating Exploratory Learning;
6. Summer Academy: Practical Work with Students;
7. Student Assessment – Master Class;
8. Student-Centered Learning;
9. Collective Leadership in Education;
   Competition in the Classroom and in Life;
10. Sustainability and Diligence in the Classroom.
