
Angelina Dzhurova
Angelina is a Teacher Support Coordinator during the teachers’ second year in Teach for Bulgaria’s A New Way to Teaching Program. She has been at this position since 2021, and before that she was a participant in the program and a primary teacher in Veliko Tarnovo’s Vladimir Kolarov School for two years.
Angelina believes that every child should have a significant other who believes in his or her potential and helps him or her to develop it. She has also been actively working to establish a bridge between the social and educational spheres.
In parallel to her work at Teach for Bulgaria, Angelina worked as a public educator with a local commission for combating the antisocial manifestations of minors in Lyaskovets. Before becoming a teacher she worked in the social sphere with children at risk and as a volunteer with children deprived of parental care.
Angelina has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Pedagogy from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, a Master’s degree in School Pedagogy from Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv and Master’s degree in Education Management from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo.
