Ekaterina has been Teach for Bulgaria’s Head of Organizational and Professional Development since 2019. She is one of the longest-standing members of the team, having performed different roles and functions over the years. She joined our team, because she believes that every child deserves the opportunity to develop his or her potential and be successful in life. She is convinced that quality education can let students achieve their best. Working for Teach for Bulgaria is an opportunity to take real steps in the process of a complete change of education in Bulgaria, which will provide a better future for our entire society.
Before taking her current position, Ekaterina was Alumni and Leader Development Manager, and prior to that she was responsible for attracting and selecting the first four batches of teachers in the program. Before Teach for Bulgaria, she worked in the field of human resources at an international telecommunications company, where she gained experience in selecting and evaluating candidates. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, as well as a Master’s degree in Work and Organizational Psychology.
