Gergana Efremova is Teach for Bulgaria’s Strategic Partnerships Manager. Her work includes establishing and maintaining sustainable partnerships with the schools where program participants teach, as well as with institutions and civil society organizations working in the field of education. She joined Teach for Bulgaria in 2011 and has experience in several different teams of the organization. She firmly believes that every child has the right to quality education and can succeed with the right support. She considers that teachers and principals play a key role in this.
Gergana has a Master’s degree in Archeology from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Before becoming a member of Teach for Bulgaria’s team, she worked in several Bulgarian and international companies. She is engaged in education issues, not only professionally, but also as a parent and a member of the public council of a school in Sofia.
