In November 2013 she also had the opportunity to visit Teach First Teachers, an experience which gave her a clearer understanding of the UK education system.
Jaklin graduated from Sofia University with a Master degree in Higher Organic Materials Technologies. Between 2007 and 2012 she actively worked as a technician in the Functional optical materials laboratory with Assoc. Prof. Stoyan Gutsov in Department “Physical Chemistry.”
Jaklin joined “Teach for Bulgaria” because during her practice in the University she was faced with very unmotivated students, lacking any desire for personal development due to lack of encouragement from their previous teachers.
