“I had the privilege of growing up in Switzerland. As a child, I took the Swiss public education system for granted. Today, I understand how fundamental this is to Switzerland’s societal and economic success. It was a tremendous gift, that I wish every child could take for granted. I would love to have the opportunity to contribute to more children receiving an adequate educational foundation – each child has the right to it, it is our obligation as adults to contribute, everyone in his or her own way, to make this a reality also in Bulgaria. And Teach for Bulgaria is the most credible institution working towards this objective that I know, so I cannot see a better cause and institution to actively engage with.”
