Pavlina has been a Senior Specialist in Marketing and Communications in Teach for Bulgaria since 2016. She takes care of media communication, storytelling and news “from the classroom and beyond” and the implementation of various communication campaigns and events in the organization. What attracts her in Teach for Bulgaria is the opportunity to contribute directly to a cause in which she strongly believes – equal access to quality education for every child.
Pavlina has extensive experience in the field of public communication and supporting various socially significant initiatives. She worked for a PR agency and was an author in and editor of the largest site for books and reading AzCheta, and in Detski Knigi Foundation for nearly 10 years. In this role, she worked on a number of reading campaigns for children and adults. She participated in the establishment of the first independent urban mini-library, Chitalnyata, in the City Garden, Sofia. She was a part of Ot Men Zavisi (It is up to me) Foundation, implementing The Adventure: It Is up to Me student leadership program.
She loves to challenge her point of view with travel, books, modern art, photography and good cinema, but especially talking to people.
