You can read some of the comments we received from parents about last year’s Summer Academy below:
“My child finally enjoyed one of the activities I’ve been taking him to all summer. He enjoys going to the Summer Academy and finds it interesting.”
Parent of a third-grader“The activities are not exhausting for the children, but enrich them in a fun and interesting way. The English teacher has a wonderful approach and charisma. I hope we’ll meet her again next year at the Summer Academy.”
Parent of a fourth-grader“This is a place to make new friends. A place to meet ‘different’ children and to find different approaches and ways to communicate. It will help children improve their subject knowledge during the school year and adapt to their new environment. The teachers are young, enthusiastic, and they look for different ways in which to approach the children. They definitely focus on motivating the students which is very important and crucial.”
Parent of a fifth-grader“Teach For Bulgaria’s Summer Academy left my child with a lot of positive emotions and good impressions. I would sign him up again because he is interested in his work at the academy and comes back home with a smile on his face every day. My son is quite impressed with the approach and the way teachers work with students at the Summer Academy. Thank you!”
