Teach For Bulgaria and Always Join Forces to Provide Access to Quality Education to Every Girl in Bulgaria

Purchase Always products at any Kaufland by May 23 and support Teach For Bulgaria and the access to quality education for girls from vulnerable communities across the country

A joint fundraising campaign by Always (Procter & Gamble Bulgaria) and Kaufland will provide access to quality education to girls from vulnerable communities and support Teach For Bulgaria’s work. The campaign was launched in the beginning of March.
Everyone who purchases Always products at Kaufland by May 23 is going to support Teach For Bulgaria’s work and allow more girls at risk of dropping out to stay in school. Procter & Gamble Bulgaria will donate 15 stotinki for every purchased package of Always sanitary products up to a total of 20,000 BGN.
“Many Bulgarian girls do not finish school. Dropping out puts them in a very vulnerable position in terms of poverty, social exclusion, and danger. Teach For Bulgaria teachers are often faced with this problem and struggle to find a solution. Thanks to Always we’ll be able to provide training, support, and other resources, so that teachers can be prepared to help students who are at a higher risk of dropping out,” shares Anjela Deyanska, Head of Development and Fundraising at Teach For Bulgaria.
“Always believes in the power of education and its role in character development. Education is the most empowering force in the world. It helps us gain knowledge and build confidence. It is the key to endless opportunities and better life. Education isn’t a gift or a privilege, it is a human right. Every girl is entitled to it. Unfortunately, girls from disadvantaged communities do not get to exercise this right. We believe that staying in school gives girls a better chance to grow up confident and to pursue their dreams,” say our partners from Procter & Gamble Bulgaria.
