So, you have already decided to participate in “Challenge for a Cause” on May 30, but you are having a hard time coming up with a challenge that motivates you or that is original and you’re not sure what to do. Don’t worry, we can give you the recipe for the perfect challenge.
Follow these steps and you’ll be able to pick the most exciting adventure.
1. Be honest with yourself about the shape that you are currently in and what your limitations are.
Safety first! It is important for you to take care of yourself and avoid injuries during practice or on the day of your challenge. The goal is to have fun, not to torture ourselves, right 🙂
2. Set a goal at the edge of your abilities.
Something you haven’t done, but would really like to. Something you have always been really close to doing, but it has somehow still remained out of reach. Walking a certain distance, for example, running a 10K, climbing a more challenging wall, or biking from point A to point B.
3. Make it interesting and one-of-a-kind.
If you feel intimidated and overwhelmed by the thought of ambitious athletic feats, don’t worry. You can still make your challenge cool and motivational. Look at your favorite sport from a different angle – instead of challenging yourself to walk a certain number of kilometers, you can try to walk around your favorite park 50 times. Instead of holding a handstand for a long time, you can do a number of handstands in different locations. Unleash your imagination and be creative.
4. Practice and share your progress on social media.
Don’t just sit around and wait until May 30, share your goal on social media, practice, and tell people about your progress. It is a well-known fact that you are more likely to accomplish your goals, if you work hard and talk to people about your struggles. Don’t forget to use the hashtags #challengeforacause or #предизвикайсе and #предизвикайсескауза, if you speak Bulgarian. We would be happy to follow your journey and get inspired by your progress.
Our ambassadors and professional athletes are also going to share their tips and tricks on how to prepare and practice for your challenge.
