The students learned more about the profession and responsibilities of lawyers and what it takes to be successful in the legal world.<\/em><\/h3>\n

\"legalThree students from Teach For Bulgaria\u2019s partner schools \u2013 Secondary School \u201cHristo Botev\u201d in Kozloduy and 170 Secondary School \u201cVasil Levski\u201d in Novi Iskar \u2013 made one of their dreams come true and spent a day as legal professionals working alongside the team of the international legal firm Kinstellar in Sofia.<\/p>\n

On June 15, high school students Pepi, Tedi, and Eleonora were the special visitors at the legal firm based in the capital of Bulgaria which gave them the opportunity to get a taste of the legal profession, learn more about the responsibilities of a lawyer and what it takes to be successful in the field, in case they chose to pursue this career path.<\/p>\n

The visit was initiated by Kinstellar\u2019s team. Kinstellar has been supporting Teach For Bulgaria and our mission for many years \u2013 by visiting our classrooms as guest speakers, providing legal help and professional mentorship, by donating, and in other ways as well. The three students were selected to visit Kinstellar\u2019s office with the help of a special selection process which required them to share why they were motivated to visit the law firm and what they wanted to learn the most from the legal professionals.<\/p>\n

They got a short tour of the office and learned what every team member at Kinstellar did at the law firm.<\/p>\n

\u201cDiscover what you like and work for it every day,\u201d Georgi Georgiev encouraged the students. He is a junior lawyer at Kinstellar and an alum of Pepi and Tedi\u2019s school in Kozloduy. Georgi also shared how important it was not to give up when things got difficult and to work hard towards your goal in spite of all obstacles. His colleagues Denitsa Kuzeva, Vanya Evtimova, and Lilia Stoykova talked to the students as well and shared similar messages.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Naturally, the legal professionals talked to the students about the skills they needed to develop in order to be successful not only as lawyers, but also as responsible citizens and socially active young people. Some of the skills which the lawyers highlighted as crucial were teamwork, time management, effective communication, intrinsic motivation, and growth mindset.
\nThe students and the legal professionals also had the opportunity to talk about what it meant to be a lawyer, how important it was for your job to be rewarding and the power of saying \u201cThank you.\u201d<\/p>\n
