OVER 350 PEOPLE JOINED THE BIG TECH RUN COMPETITION AND SUPPORTED THE TEACHERS OF TEACH FOR BULGARIA
More than 350 people participated in the final competition of the TechRun League Championship, The Big Tech Run, on 20th November, Sunday, in Sofia Tech Park. Apart from the strong sports emotions of the participants, the competition managed to raise a donation of 2000 lev to support TFB’s teachers.
25 % of the collected registration fees of all participants in the Big Tech Run were donated to support the cause of the event. The initiative of the run championship for the people engaged in the technological and financial field in Bulgaria was started by our loyal supporters from Questers and Begach Sports Club.
In the final competition, the participants could choose between 5 or 10-kilometer distances, competing as part of a group or individually. The team of Sofia University Kliment Ohridski won the first place in the team standings.
As for the individual ones, Asya Kremenlieva (5 km) and Elena Dimitrova (10 km) was first among the women participants, whereas Martin Nedyalkov (5 km) and Metodi Georgiev (10 km) were first among men. You can check all the results on www.techrun.bg.
You can see photos from the event on the Facebook page of Begach Sports Club.
We are deeply grateful to the organizers and all participants for the commitment and support for Teach for Bulgaria’s cause for granting equal access to quality education for every child in Bulgaria.
