The Bulgarian community in San Francisco on several occasions already actively showed its support for the mission and work of Teach for Bulgaria for transforming students. On 18 April 2017 at 19:00 hours local time (19 April, 5:00 a.m. Bulgarian time), our supporters from the West Coast reunited again — this time with a discussion on social mobility and Bulgarian education. The main participants in the meeting were Evgenia Peeva-Kirova, CEO of Teach for Bulgaria, and Bogomil Balkanski, one of the most successful Bulgarian entrepreneurs in the Silicon Valley.

The two shared their personal experiences and the key factors to have contributed for their professional achievement to become recognizable leaders in the areas of information technology and education.
